Join ALSO for a fun and beginner-friendly community bike ride through Portland this summer. This social-paced ride is open to ALSO Advocates, self-advocates, community members, friends, family, and supporters who want to enjoy a casual ride while learning more about ALSO’s mission and the importance of inclusion and disability services in our communities. 

The ride will be on the car-free route for the East Portland Sunday Parkway, and our ride will be approximately 6 to 7 miles on mostly flat and paved routes with several stops along the way. Riders of all experience levels are welcome. 

Need an adaptive bike to participate? Borrow one from Adaptive Sports NW at Parklane Park. Plan to arrive at 11 AM for time to try out their bikes and adjust the bike fit.

There is no cost to attend, but registration helps us plan for attendance, communication, and supplies.

During the tour, you’ll learn about our approach, the services we provide, and the impact of our work in the lives of the people we support.

The tour includes a guided overview and time for questions at the end. Whether you’re exploring services for yourself or someone you care for, learning for professional or educational reasons, or simply interested in our mission, you are welcome to attend.
