The children who call ALSO’s Children’s Residential Services homes their home each have their own interests, routines, personalities, and goals. One child may love cooking and expressing himself through personal style. Another may enjoy gaming and connecting with friends. Someone else may be happiest with a challenging puzzle, a trip to the library, a Lego project, or an afternoon at the skate park. Other interests include Dungeons & Dragons, Pokémon, manga, gaming, building complex Lego sets, and exploring new adventures outdoors.
The 2026 Children’s Holiday Wish List was created around these individual interests and needs.
Each requested item is an opportunity to help a child feel known, celebrated, and supported, whether it encourages independence, creates connection, sparks creativity, supports a new experience, or simply makes their space feel more like their own.
No additional delivery or drop-off is needed.
The November 19 deadline gives our team time to prepare and deliver gifts to the correct homes before the holidays. You can also help by sharing the wish list with friends, coworkers, businesses, or community groups.
Join us for ALSO’s Heart Work Virtual Tour, a live, public overview of our services and the people-centered work that drives everything we do. This monthly tour highlights how ALSO supports independence, inclusion, and meaningful community connections across Oregon. During the tour, you’ll learn about our approach, the services we provide, and the impact of our work in the lives of the people we support.
About the Tour
The tour includes a guided overview and time for questions at the end. Whether you’re exploring services for yourself or someone you care for, learning for professional or educational reasons, or simply interested in our mission, you are welcome to attend.
