Lifelong Commitments to Supporting People and Their Families

ALSO is there for people, advocating for and supporting individuals and their families through the many phases of their lives. We want to learn more about how we can best support you.

Together We…

  • Provide a full range of support and services to children and adults in their homes, workplaces, and community.
  • Ensure all people with disabilities have access to the resources they need to live full lives.
  • Help people transition through the school years, to adulthood, through aging in place.
  • Believe each step presents a different set of opportunities to advocate for choice, involvement, independence, and self-determination.

Current ALSO Services

Employment Services at ALSO provides a customized and individual approach to providing meaningful employment to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities seeking jobs.

Residential Care services utilize person-centered practices and work collaboratively as a team with individuals, families, and ALSO’s Advocates. ALSO ensures the people we support live their lives as fully and independently as possible.

In Supported Living, we work hard to promote, encourage, and assist with independence in a wide variety of services based on an individual’s needs. In-Home Supports are individual services offered in your home. This person-centered approach is developed around each individual’s needs.

Children Services are designed and implemented with the whole child in mind. We provide a healthy, safe, creative, and inviting home environment where children live full lives-supporting each child’s distinct needs, emphasizing integrated supports, skill development, independence, decision making, and community inclusion.

ALSO Arts is an inclusive community arts program, studio, and gallery located in Troutdale, Oregon. It is a foundation and pillar of ALSO’s programs and services committed to the full inclusion of people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We provide accessible art opportunities, training, expression, and production.
