ALSO provides employment opportunities to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our supported employment program allows people to find meaningful jobs in their communities with the local employers with whom we partner. We assist with job development, job placement, skills training, the hiring process, and other support services. The job coaches and supported employment specialists at ALSO are here to help with every step of the employment process. Our goal is to enable individuals with disabilities to meet all their employment goals, starting with the job search and continuing with ongoing support. We love helping everyone become a part of a diverse workforce and be more connected to their communities.
Employer partners are local businesses that work with ALSO to provide employment for people experiencing disabilities. Reach out to ALSO’s Employment Director, Chaz Volavka, if you have any questions, are seeking additional information, or are interested in becoming and Employer Partner with ALSO.
ALSO is an amazing outfit. We have been working with them for quite some time and they have been a joy to work with. It’s a really neat program that I’m proud to be a part of.
